Coach Montana

Two women's soccer players earned All-Freedom Conference honors. Head women's soccer coach Renee Montana was named Co-Freedom Conference Coach of the Year.

Montana, in her third year of coaching at FDU, is a 1995 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina, where she earned All-South Atlantic Conference honors four times and All-South Atlantic Region honors twice. A native of Holbrook, NY, she earned All-Suffolk County Honors and All-League honors as captain of the women's soccer team at Sachem High School in Lake Ronkonkama, NY. As a sophomore, she scored 42 goals.

Khosravi started all 18 games for FDU. According to coach Montana, Khosravi is the heart of the defense and the team's field general. As the Devils' last line of defense, she was consistent.

Perry posted 18 points on the season (second on team) while starting all 18 games for FDU. Her eight goals was second-best on the team, and she also added two assists.
